Irish crochet lace video tutorials

This summer I have started making a video tutorials. So far there are 13 videos and will be more to come. The planned schedule for tutorials is Tuesdays and Fridays, twice a week there will be a new lesson

My lace on a Fashion show

All dreams come true. Really. I never even thought that my lace can be presented on a catwalk. But this summer I was offered to participate in Baku Fashion nights show. Taking into consideration, that 3 out of 7 models were still in pieces, not even place on a template and I had only three weeks to complete them, including sewing the lining and other matching clothes, it was a real challenge. But I did it and June 25, my wearable irish crochet lace was ready. You can see how it went. The only thing I had to change was the music, since the FMS company decided to use Siamsa sound track, so in order to place video on youtube I had to replace it with a Flowers Waltz from Nutcracker

Almost a year

It's been almost a year since I was posting in this blog. What can I say? Things are getting more serious. I've moved to another workshop, visited carpet weaving lessons, made a huge amount of irish crochet lace scarves, bought a heddle loom and made another set of woven scarves.
And keep working on the irish crochet lace tutorials. You can find the latest of my designs in the step-by-step tutorials.
Also I have another web-project going on, that covers my other handicraft passion www.handicrafts.az . There are also tutorials and latest work presented.
Anyway, spring is half gone, summer is almost here, at least in our area. So I'm starting to work on the top collection, using out all my flower crochet motifs.
