My lace on a Fashion show

All dreams come true. Really. I never even thought that my lace can be presented on a catwalk. But this summer I was offered to participate in Baku Fashion nights show. Taking into consideration, that 3 out of 7 models were still in pieces, not even place on a template and I had only three weeks to complete them, including sewing the lining and other matching clothes, it was a real challenge. But I did it and June 25, my wearable irish crochet lace was ready. You can see how it went. The only thing I had to change was the music, since the FMS company decided to use Siamsa sound track, so in order to place video on youtube I had to replace it with a Flowers Waltz from Nutcracker

My first classic top!

Yes,  did it! The first top made in a real irish crochet lace technique! It is not usual size 10 thread that I used to work, but size 50 and 60. And the Roslea squares, and the clones knots. The motifs I took from Maire Treanor's book and 128 motifs of irish crochet lace.
And I love the result. It feels so different from what I did before

В зиму глядя кусочек лета

У нас пока временная передышка от холодной осени, на несколько дней снова пришло лето. Тепло, солнышко сияет, горячий южный ветерок дует. Но скоро опять подует злой северный ветер, нанесет туч. А у меня дома останется кусочек лета. Собственноручно сотворенный, яркий, легкий..
Вчера пол ночи заправляла хвостики, чтобы быстрее похвататься. Ушло 250 грамм хлопка, Анна 16, Мона 8, Виолет, Макси, Алтынбашак 50.
